Since its inception in 1994, InfoWest has relied on the expertise and passion of its diverse teams to deliver cutting-edge internet solutions to residents and businesses alike. Spearheaded by co-founders Kelly Nyberg and Randy Cosby, the company has nurtured a culture of teamwork and innovation, empowering its employees to push the boundaries of what’s possible in the digital realm.

“At InfoWest, we understand that our greatest asset is our people,” said Nyberg, who today serves as CEO of InfoWest. “Our teams work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that our customers receive the best possible service day in and day out.”

At the heart of InfoWest’s connectivity services is the network operations team, responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s extensive network infrastructure. With a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving, network operations ensures that InfoWest’s internet is always running smoothly, even in the face of technical challenges.

“We love Southern Utah. Quite a few of us grew up here, so we want to provide the best internet experience we can to our neighbors,” said Cody Anderson, director of network operations. “We build our network with reliable, stable equipment that’s going to last, and there are always people working to watch the system for any issues. We don’t let people be out of service if we can help it.”

“Our NetOps team is the backbone of our operations,” added Cosby, now InfoWest’s COO. “Their dedication to excellence and their willingness to go above and beyond have been instrumental in our success.”

Complementing network operations is InfoWest’s IT team, a group of highly skilled professionals tasked with developing and implementing innovative technology solutions. From upgrading software systems to enhancing cybersecurity measures, IT plays a crucial role in keeping InfoWest at the forefront of technological innovation.

InfoWest also relies on the fiber operations team to deploy and maintain its fiber-optic network infrastructure throughout the greater St. George and Cedar City areas. With a focus on reliability, speed and scalability, fiber operations ensures that subscribers have access to the fastest and most reliable internet available. Customers can enjoy speeds of up to 2 gigabits per second in select communities.

“We’re putting fiber out wherever we can to help the community connect to the world,” said Randon Anderson, director of fiber engineering. “Fiber is a game-changer; everybody wants it, and there’s virtually no limit to how fast it can go.”

Rounding out InfoWest’s stellar lineup of internet experts is support operations, a group of friendly and knowledgeable professionals dedicated to providing top-notch customer service. Whether assisting with technical difficulties or answering billing questions, this team goes above and beyond to ensure that customers receive the support they need whenever they need it.

“I often hear from customers that they chose us because we’re 100% local,” said Tyler Nelson, director of field operations and product elevations. “It’s nice when you call in and know you’re going to be talking to somebody in one of our Southern Utah offices. You’re welcome to stop by and talk to a person, too, which is sometimes hard to do these days.”

As InfoWest celebrates its 30th anniversary, Nyberg shared his gratitude for the dedicated employees who have made it all possible, adding that the company’s long history of success is a testament to the power of teamwork.

For sales and development director Ryon Bowler, who joined InfoWest in 2006, it’s all about the culture. The company has grown from approximately 20 employees to over 150 team members during his time there, but they haven’t lost their sense of camaraderie or their focus on taking care of every customer.

“I honestly can’t imagine working for a better company, and that’s why I’m still here,” he said.

With more people working, learning and communicating online than ever before, InfoWest is committed to providing customers with industry-leading security, stability and speed. The company’s leadership team prioritizes reinvesting in technology and infrastructure to ensure that Southern Utah remains on the cutting edge of the ever-changing tech landscape.

“It’s really exciting,” said Shalaine Coleman, director of infrastructure operations. “We’ve got a ton of expansion going on in St. George and Cedar City as well as Sevier County. We’ve increased our footprint by so much in just a short amount of time.”

As the company looks ahead to the future, it does so with confidence, knowing that its greatest strength lies in the talented individuals who make up its workforce.
