Police: Worker sustains serious head injury from nail gun at Enoch construction site

ENOCH — A construction worker in Enoch was airlifted to the hospital after seriously injuring himself with a nail gun, police said.

Enoch Police Chief Jackson Ames said that at approximately 5:44 p.m. on Thursday, police responded to a medical call at a construction site.

“A male accidentally shot himself in the head with a nail gun,” Ames told Cedar City News.

After being treated at the scene, the man was reportedly transported via Life Flight helicopter to St. George Regional Hospital.

As of 7 p.m. Friday, no further details had been released, including updates regarding the injured man’s condition.

The incident reportedly occurred at one of the homes under construction in a new subdivision just to the north of Midvalley Road, across from Boebert Park.
