Situated amid the sprawling, centuries-old canvas of Greater Zion’s striking black lava beds and burnt-red sandstone cliffs, Black Desert Resort is taking form and set to debut this fall. On Saturday, July 20, and Monday, July 22, the resort will host a two-day job fair where attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about this highly anticipated destination, meet the hiring managers and interview for hundreds of available positions.

“This is your opportunity to have one-on-one face time with the high-level executives involved in the project and be a part of the most exciting hospitality venture in the state,” said Kate Brown, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Black Desert Resort. “Our career fair provides a chance not just to find a job, but to develop a fulfilling career path that can grow with you indefinitely.”

Black Desert Resort is seeking employees with a passion for exceptional hospitality service that’s both intuitive and effortless, and who can best express that in an approachable atmosphere of spontaneity and authenticity. The resort is currently hiring for more than 300 full-time and part-time positions with immediate job offers.

Open positions include dining staff (general managers, restaurant hosts, cooks, bartenders, servers, food runners, stewards, front of house supervisors, banquet chefs, etc.) as well as front office and sales staff (front desk agents, concierge, housekeeping, bellperson, night auditors, sales managers, purchasing and receiving clerks, accountants, security agents and more).

The career fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 1-6 p.m. on Monday at Red Mountain Resort’s Canyon Breeze Restaurant, located at 1275 E. Red Mountain Circle in Ivins. Be there, get hired and become a part of something extraordinary.

“We’re dedicated to fostering a culture of empowerment where people are excited to go to work,” Brown said. “We want to create an environment where employees want to stay with us long-term because there’s such an incredible opportunity for growth. Being part of a project that has this kind of visibility is something to be proud of.”

The expansive property will offer more than 700 hotel rooms and luxury suites, five diverse dining venues, a pedestrian retail and culinary boardwalk, a water park, a spa and fitness center, a concert venue and more.
